So now it's my turn....

I challenged my daughter some time ago to start a blog because, well, she's a pretty neat kid and she has fun things to say. Besides, she sometimes says she wants to write more, and I think blogging is a great way to start honing her skills. (She's good, but she's young.) You can find her now at TxChrysalis.blogspot.com; you'll have to go there to find out what that means.

So I figured I've goofed around long enough that maybe it's okay for me to have a blog, too. The name of this one is from my Chrysalis (not her real name), who watched me struggle to survive a painful divorce with the help of Wayne Dyer's book, Real Magic. When my daughter decided I needed a screen name for instant messaging, she didn't think twice: Real Magic had meant so much to me during those years that she pinned me to realmagicdj. Seems like a logical place to start a blog.

So here it is, with a tip of my hat to my terrific Chrysalis—and a bit of a sense of the silly, to boot!
